In Syracuse, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Syracuse follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Tried atilios on date night with my husband, we came in without reservation and were immediately seated. We ordered meatballs (they were huge & delicious), calamari & my husband ordered chicken parm. They give you garlic bread to start which was awesome. Best part was our waiter Mike, who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal. He also made sure to refill our drinks as they got low without us asking. His attention to our comfort was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Our shrimp cocktail was good but there were only 3 shrimp. My Tuscan Salmon was dry and hard on the top and my Parmesan Risotto tasted more like slightly cheesy grits. The Beef and Brie with Mushroom soup tastes like it came out of a can, way too salty. My husband's Veal Marsala was good, but was presented in a bowl, not a plate, as was mine. Not plated well. The minute our waitress realized we were not ordering drinks first lost interest in us. The 2nd wait staff was much nicer and she checked in on us. I brought my husband here for his birthday on a recommendation and I will not be going back. Very disappointed.

I went to Attilio's in April (after reserving a table for two), and I enjoyed my time there. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The portions are average but the taste was delicious. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it.

Atillo's was excellent! All the servers, host and bartender were friendly and attentive. Best dirty martini Ive had in a long time. We all enjoyed our meals. Everything was cooked to perfection and the bread is amazing. We had the pork chop, filets, and haddock oreganata. We took dessert home and enjoyed our flourless chocolate torte and limoncello cake.

I always have a great experience at Attilios. The hostess seated me promptly. I was then taken care of by my waiter. He was very attentive and polite. He would come back after every dish that he served me to make sure everything was all right. The Gouda Arancini was very flavorful especially with the garlicky tomato sauce. My Tuscan soup was very earthy tasting with the vegetables and the herbs. The Chicken Al Forno was nicely done. I loved all the flavors and concepts of this dish. Last but not least, my gingerbread cheesecake was delicious and it comes with a little gingerbread cookie on top. Definitely recommend this restaurant. I will be back soon.
